When the Tesla Cybertruck debuted last month, it didn't take long for it to become an internet meme. Its blocky design wouldn't look out of place in a retro 1990s video game. As a result, several video games companies couldn't resist photoshopping the Tesla Cybertruck appearing in retro racing games such as Micro Machines and Destruction Derby and sharing the photos on social media. But will the Tesla Cybertruck appear in any modern racing games?

To try and make this happen, a fan has launched a petition on Change.org to convince Microsoft and developers Playground Games and Turn 10 Studios to add the Tesla Cybertruck to Forza Horizon 4 or any future Forza racing games.

Since deliveries of the Tesla Cybertruck aren't slated to start until 2021, this would give fans an early chance to take a virtual test drive of the electric pickup truck. At the time of writing 114 people have signed the petition.

Surprisingly, none of Tesla's current models are available to drive in Forza Horizon 4 or Forza Motorsport 7, but the Tesla Model S can be driven in Gran Turismo Sport. Tesla has featured in older Forza games, however, as the Model S appeared in Forza Horizon 2, Forza Horizon 3, and Forza Motorsport 6, and the original Tesla Roadster was featured in Forza Motorsport 4.

A massive leak has revealed that as many as 150 new cars will be added to Forza Horizon 4 despite the game being over a year old, but no Tesla models were included in the list.

If it ever does get added to Forza Horizon 4, the Tesla Cybertruck will be the fastest truck in the game and should be a lot of fun to explore the game's diverse open-world recreation of the UK with. Starting at $69,900, the range-topping Tri-Motor AWD version of the Tesla Cybertruck will do 0-62 mph in 2.9 seconds and last more than 500 miles on a single charge.
