Fourth Of July Special: We Take A Look At The Cars Of America's Most Badass Actors

Holidays

Some of these action heroes have some awesome cars. Others, not so much...

A list of the top five American cars in celebration of fourth of July would be too easy; too obvious. Instead, we decided to take a look at five American action movie stars and check out their car collections. All of these actors have appeared as badasses in American movies and epitomize the tough, American spirit, even though they aren't all American. Be sure to comment on who you think has the best collection.

We kick this list off with a well-known car enthusiast and former Mr. Universe, Arnold Schwarzenegger. Even though he wasn't born in the US, this action hero does have one of the best car histories we have ever seen. Schwarzenegger famously drove a Hummer H1, and even upgraded to a larger Mercedes Unimog. The Unimog was recently listed for sale, so what does Schwarzenegger drive now? Just a Bugatti Veyron Grand Sport Vitesse. He has also owned a Jeep Wrangler, Bentley Continental Super Sports, and a Dodge Challenger. Clearly this tough guy has an affinity for tough, mostly American, cars.

Our next celebrity is Sylvester Stallone. The Rambo and Rocky superstar has owned plenty of European cars including an Aston Martin DBS, Bentley Continental GTC, Porsche Panamera, and Mercedes-Benz SL65 AMG. However, Stallone is also a fan of American muscle cars and was once the proud owner of a custom Chevy Camaro SS and this badass Corvette. Clearly Stallone likes fast and expensive cars, and given he has his own statue in Philadelphia, he was always going to make this list, whatever his garage looks like.

Samuel Jackson has played many exciting action roles, including the leader of the super hero group, 'The Avengers.' With such a glitzy film career, you would expect Jackson to have some amazing cars, right? Sorry to disappoint you, but Samuel Jackson drives a Toyota Camry. Some people just really don't like to be noticed. Jackson has also been spotted driving a Range Rover, so he's not a complete loser. That said, this "Bad Mother Fcuker" needs a car befitting of the director of a group of superheroes. Maybe Audi can him you a free car for sponsoring their cars.

Yes, Clint Eastwood drives an all-electric Fiat 500e. But don't worry, this isn't his only car. Eastwood is an American legend who has owned classic cars like an Austin Healy, and a Ferrari 365. One of Eastwood's favorite cars is his 1992 GMC Typhoon, which he reportedly still owns. The Typhoon could hit 60 mph in just 5.3-seconds, which was blisteringly fast back in the 1990s, and as a limited production car its value is certain to skyrocket. Hopefully Eastwood has still held on to his.

Bruce Willis completes the lineup as our top badass American car collector. His rides include a Bentley Continental GTC, 1955 Bel Air Nomad, 1969 Dodge Charger, 1968 Mustang GT 500 Convertible, 1986 Pontiac Firebird 400 Convertible, and a pair 1967 and 1957 Corvette Convertibles. Clearly Willis loves to drop the top on his beautiful collection. Do you agree with our choice? Which American badass do you think has the coolest cars?
