Wheelstands are always one of those great crowd-pleasing things you can do with a car, and the fox body Mustang is one of the better cars to do them in. This is thanks to the same qualities that make the car good for drag racing, it weighs very little for a muscle car – less weight for the torque going through the rear wheels to lift up – and there's enough room under the hood to shoehorn in all manner of go-fast Ford hardware.
But there's a lot of potential for something to go wrong with a wheelstand, and this is just one example. Still, could have been much worse.
