As everyone was scampering around the Frankfurt Auto Show trying to steal a glimpse of the Bugatti Veyron Grand Sport L'Or Blanc, we caught the proverbial 'diamond in rough', per say, of the French supercars chilling at the premier German auto event. The Bugatti Veyron Grand Sport is the convertible version of the fastest production car in the world. 42 of the 108 units ever produced of this version were sold, leaving the French automaker with a surplus of supercar convertibles.

To try and swing some sales, Bugatti has brought their completely red model to Frankfurt to show off. From the interior to the wheels, everything was painted red. The Bugatti Veyron features an 8.0-liter W16 engine that can put out 1001hp. Bugatti has confirmed that an even more powerful version of the Veyron Grand Sport will be unveiled at the 2012 Geneva Motor Show.
