While all eyes were on the S-Class Coupe Concept at the Frankfurt Motor Show, Mercedes whisked the wraps off the 2015 GLA compact crossover, the smallest model in its utility range. Sharing its architecture and powertrain lineup with the A- and CLA-Class compacts, the new GLA, revealed last month, is certainly stylish enough to make BMW X1 buyers think twice and may even pinch a few Range Rover Evoque fans away from Land Rover. Especially when finished with matte paint. And a AMG variant is something to get very excited about too.
