If you've ever been to a local car meet, the odds are good you've seen some slightly/heavily modified 350Z or 370Zs. The cars are known for having a heavy aftermarket presence that'll allow you to modify just about anything on the vehicles. Luckily, Nissan appreciates tuner culture, which is why it's debuting a whole host of new NISMO performance parts at the 2022 SEMA Show to get a head start on turning the new Nissan Z into a tuner icon. Oh, and it's debuting Frontier parts, too, because Nissan hasn't forgotten about all its off-road enthusiasts, either.

The SEMA Show, which runs November 1-4 in Las Vegas, isn't a show you just "show" up at, especially not when you're going up against brands like Mopar, which will quickly steal the show from you. You need to come to impress, and Nissan decided to do that this year by bringing six different concepts to the show. Three of them are modified current or vintage Nissan vehicles, one's the new Z GT4 race car, and the final two are the Z and Frontier wearing all those lovely new NISMO parts. So what can you expect?

For the Nissan Z, the new components start with NISMO LM-RS1 forged wheels, a Nismo cold air intake, a Nismo performance heat exchanger with increased volume to maintain performance on hot/track days, a twin-tube Nismo coilover suspension kit with a linear race spring system.

While none of these is likely to translate to any extra horsepower, they will aid handling ability and generate a little more noise, as will the Nismo track exhaust. Should you decide to dial up the boost and tune the Z for more power, the Nismo street twin-disc clutch might come in handy, while additional stopping power from a Nismo big brake kit won't go amiss either. A little more cooling might come in handy, too, which is why a Nismo coolant expansion tank is on offer.

The final little bits and pieces include an adjustable stabilizer bar kit and a prototype Nismo strut tower bar.

For the Frontier, Nissan is debuting the Nismo Frontier V8 concept. Which, if you couldn't tell by the name, has a 5.6 liter V8 sourced from a Titan. Built by Forsberg Racing, it has some model-specific parts, but also a ton of Nismo ones that you'll be able to order for your own Frontier. These include a Nismo Off-Road cold air intake and cat-back exhaust system, Nismo/Bilstein coilover shocks, Nismo/Bilstein external reservoir shocks, and Nismo Off-Road Axis 18 x 9-inch wheels with 295/70/18 mud-terrain tires.

To conquer the unknown, a set of prototype Nismo Off-Road rock rails will come in handy, and when you're in the middle of nowhere, a Nismo Off-Road in-bed spare wheel-and-tire carrier setup will definitely come in handy, as will the Nismo Off-Road LED lighting, a Warn winch, and a Nismo Off-Road roof rack.

The best part about all this is the fact that all of the parts will be covered by a Nissan warranty; on a new vehicle, this lasts three years/36,000 miles. Parts installed on the vehicle after purchase will receive the balance of the factory warranty or 12-month/12,000-mile coverage, whichever is higher. Parts installed on vehicles outside of the factory warranty period receive a 12-month/12,000-mile warranty.

"Launching a new range of performance-oriented NISMO parts demonstrates our commitment to supporting enthusiasts, who have long been passionate about personalizing and modifying their Nissan vehicles," said Vice President of Nissan US Aftersales Kim Less. "Covering these parts with our Nissan warranty provides added peace of mind for our valued fans."

It's a great thing to see an automaker doing, something that we've seen recently from Dodge, too, with the Direct Connection catalog, and we're only looking forward to seeing where Nissan takes it in the future.
