By now we know that Land Rover renamed the LR3 to LR4 as it performed a number of interior changes on the model. Although it is still priced higher in comparison to other SUVs, the 2010 Land Rover LR4 is all about luxury. The LR4 is no stranger to change having changed names several times, but a revised 5.0-liter V8 engine from Jaguar, and all-new interior were quiet impressive. The greatest strength the LR4 has is its superior off-road capabilities.
Since most drivers rarely take it off-road, a reasonable alternative, such as the Audi Q7, is better. Another reason why some consumers might want to rethink purchasing this vehicle is its terrible drinking habit. The LR4 is still a gas guzzler with poor fuel economy that can put a dent in your wallet.
