British tuner Frontline plans to combine current with classic for their MGB. Gone is the old, clunky 4-cylinder of the classic MGB. Frontline gave the ride a modern and smooth 2.0-liter, four cylinder engine straight from the Mazda MX-5. The MGB will weigh in at less than 2,000lbs thanks to new con-rods, crankshafts, pistons and a new British Motor Heritage MGB shell. No power steering and the original axle set-up give it its trademark classic feel.

In total, the MGB should hit 240hp and be a fast, old school machine. Pricing starts at an astronomical $80,000 and delivery begins next year. Several hues will be available - Aston Martin sage green or anthracite and Old English White, the same option on the original cars from 1962.
