For the 2020 model year, Chevrolet fixed the Camaro's ruined face after receiving a lot of criticism over the controversial 2019 facelift. The SS model no longer has a black bar on the grille and the bowtie has been moved above the crossbar, resulting in a cleaner front fascia that looks far better. This wasn't the only improvement either.

A new LT1 trim level takes all the features of the 1LT trim level but adds the 455-horsepower 6.2-liter V8 from the SS trim and is available with either a six-speed manual or an optional ten-speed automatic. An improved 10-speed transmission also replaces the V6 Camaro's eight-speed automatic, and new color options were also added for the 2020 model.

The 2020 Chevrolet Camaro was unveiled back in the summer, but the online configurator was only recently changed to display the new 2020 model. The 2020 Camaro LT1 is now the cheapest model in the lineup to pack a V8 starting at $34,995 excluding destination, compared to the $37,995 SS trim. However, things start getting expensive once you start exploring the extensive options list.

Topping the range is the ZL1 trim starting at $62,995 with a six-speed manual or $64,590 with an automatic. Choosing one of the three available premium colors adds an extra $395, while a center stripe adds $470.

Chevrolet also offers a ZL1 1LE Extreme Track Performance Package for $7,500, which adds a satin black hood wrap, unique front splitter, front dive planes, a visible carbon-fiber weave hood insert and rear spoiler, performance suspension, red brake calipers, 19-inch gloss black-painted wheels, and an auto-dimming rearview mirror.

Other available exterior enhancements include a fuel filler cap with a visible carbon insert, a front license plate bracket, and an indoor cover. Inside, you can also upgrade the infotainment system, add red seatbelts and a carbon fiber-style shift knob. There's also a long list of dealer-installed accessories you can add on. With destination and tax, the total price came to $79,515 with all the options ticked, minus a $1,500 cash allowance that reduced the price down to $78,015.
