While we wait for the next-generation Ranger to arrive for the 2022 model year, Ford's online configurator for the 2021 model has gone live. Like the 2020 model, the 2021 Ford Ranger is available in three trims: XL, XLT, and Lariat, starting at $24,820, $28,870, and $32,910 respectively excluding the $1,195 destination charge. All three trims can be configured with either a SuperCab 6' Box or a SuperCrew 5' Box and rear-wheel or four-wheel drive.

As standard, the XL trim comes with Ford Pass Connect and a pre-collision assist with automatic emergency braking. Upgrading to the XLT trim adds dual-zone climate control and 17-inch aluminum wheels, while the range-topping Lariat trim gets LED headlights and taillights, a leather interior, 18-inch wheels, and a push-button start.

Four new colors have been added to the 2021 Ford Ranger options list: Cactus Gray, Carbonized Gray, Velocity Blue, and Cyber Orange, with the latter available at a $595 premium.

For the 2021 model year Raner, Ford has introduced the Tremor package that enhances the truck's off-road capability beyond the FX2 and FX4 Off-Road packages. Available for the XLT and Lariat trims with the SuperCrew 4x4 configuration, the Tremor package adds lifted suspension with Fox 2.0 dampers and tuned shocks, 17-inch Magnetic-painted aluminum wheels wrapped in off-road tires, flared fenders, and magnetic front and rear bumpers.

Other enhancements include rear tow hooks, skid plates, and a side step, while the XLT's interior gets special vinyl bucket seats and the Lariat features leather bucket seats. Adding the Tremor package will set you back an extra $4,290, making the 2021 Ford Ranger ready to hit the dirt.

On top of this, the Tremor package also requires the 301A or 501A Technology packages to be installed depending on the trim for an extra $1,670, adding cruise control, parking sensors and navigation. Fully loaded, our 2021 Ford Ranger Tremor was quoted at $50,530 including the destination charge.
