Audi's online configurator for the Q4 e-tron is now live.
With a starting price tag of $43,900, the Q4 e-tron is Audi's most affordable electric SUV yet, even undercutting the Tesla Model Y. Customer deliveries for Audi's Tesla Model Y rival are due to start later this year in the US, but before then Audi has launched an online configurator for its new electric crossover, allowing you to browse all the options and build your perfect Q4 e-tron. Naturally, we ticked all the options to see how much a fully loaded Q4 e-tron will cost you.
Three trims are available for the Q4 e-tron: Premium, Premium Plus, and Prestige, which start at $43,900, $46,700, and $56,200 respectively. Premium and Premium Plus can be configured in RWD or AWD, while Prestige is only available with AWD. With AWD, the Premium and Premium Plus trims start at $49,900 and $52,700 respectively. All prices exclude a $1,045 destination charge.
With a single rear motor, the Q4 e-tron produces 201 horsepower and 229 lb-ft of torque. The more powerful AWD version increases the output to 295 hp and 339 lb-ft of torque and has an EPA-estimated 241-mile range. This is slightly lower than the platform-sharing Volkswagen ID.4 AWD Pro, which has an EPA-estimated 249 miles of range.
As standard, the Premium trim is fitted with 19-inch five-spoke wheels, a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster, and an LED interior lighting package. Upgrading to Premium Plus adds a heated steering wheel, a power tailgate, adaptive cruise assist, and Audi advanced key. At the top of the range, the Prestige includes Audi MMI navigation plus, Audi virtual cockpit plus, Matrix-design LED headlights, a Sonos sound system, and an augmented reality head-up display.
For the exterior, four color options are available: Pebble Grey, Glacier White Metallic, Mythos Black Metallic, and Navarra Blue Metallic. Pebble Grey is available at no extra charge but the other options cost an extra $595. AWD models can also be upgraded with larger 20-inch wheels for an extra $800. Inside, the leather seats can be finished in beige, black, or brown with grey contrast stitching.
For $2,200, an available S-Line plus package adds high-gloss black exterior accents, black roof rails, sport front seats, S-Line bumpers, a flat top and bottom steering wheel, brushed aluminum inlays, and 20-inch ten-spoke wheels. Other optional extras include a trailer hitch ($650), and a 360-degree camera ($500). Fully loaded, our top-spec Audi Q4 e-tron Prestige cost a total of $61,440 including destination.
