Whenever Comic Con comes around these days, our first thought is what car Hyundai will use to create yet another zombie apocalypse prepared motor. Following the Elantra Coupe in San Diego 2012, and the Veloster at the same location this summer, it was the turn of the Sante Fe to receive zombie-fighting arsenal for the New York show. The Zombie Survival Machine (ZSM) was chosen from over 82,500 fan submissions, designed by Anson Kuo and brought to life by Galpin Auto Sports.

Knives was Kuo's weapon of choice in order to conserve ammunition, with the Sante Fe ZSM featuring knife blades, a samurai sword as well as an automatic crossbow, machine guns, aluminum armor, razor-wired windows and a muffler silencer. The SUV was specifically selected for its size, allowing for extra passengers, weapons and supplies. It also happens to be a car he purchased recently. Also on show will be the Veolster ZSM designed by "The Walking Dead" comic creator Robert Kirkman. The New York Comic Con is now on at the Javits Center. You've got until Sunday to check it out.
