Gearhead Exotica: Scion FR-S Gets Naked

Tuning

There's no poll dancing here. Just some body and wheel stripping.

The Scion FR-S and Subaru BRZ were built to not only be back-to-basics sports coupes, but also to appeal to aftermarket tuners. True, the 2.0-liter boxer-four engine isn’t all that spectacular with just 200 horsepower, but once a turbocharger or supercharger is added, then it’s a different story entirely. Take one look at the cars’ exterior and it’s beyond obvious just how much potential there is to add both style and substance.

So where to begin? Strip the car down to its bare bones. Just remove everything. The crew over at eGarage have just produced this video showcasing an FR-S getting stripped down in preparation for a tune job. Call it gearhead erotica.
