Chinese automaker Geely has just released the first official set of pictures of their upcoming new model, the Gleagle GS-CC, ahead of its debut at the Shanghai Auto Show. The new convertible is certainly an interesting design, with its sweptback windshield and large rear end. Clearly, the look is not for everybody, but Geely deserves credit for designing their own cars, instead of the rebadged jobs from other Chinese automakers.
Interior quality is also said to be a major step forward for the automaker, but power is disappointing. It comes equipped with a turbocharged 1.3-liter four-cylinder that only produces 127 hp. We'll have more details next week when the 2011 Shanghai Auto Show officially opens.
