The 2023 Genesis GV60, the last of the Hyundai Motors Group's trio of E-GMP cars, is finally here. We've already fallen in love with the Hyundai Ioniq 5 and Kia EV6, so we expect the luxury cousin to impress. Genesis will offer the GV60 with two variants, both sporting dual motors and all-wheel-drive. The GV60 Advanced AWD starts at $58,890 (excluding a $1,090 freight fee) and includes the same 77.4 kWh battery pack found in its Hyundai and Kia relatives.

As standard, the GV60 packs two electric motors (74 kW front and 160 kW rear), combining to produce 314 horsepower. Oddly, that's four hp less than the Ioniq5 and EV6. Driving range is also down a bit on the Genesis, rated at 248 miles. Though it's just a base model, the Advanced comes well-equipped with a heat pump, surround view monitor, bind-spot monitoring, smart cruise control, Vision Roof, power tailgate, Bang & Olufsen premium audio, head-up display, heated/ventilated heats, dual 12.3-inch screens, and more.

The sportier GV60 Performance AWD is significantly pricier at $67,890. It gets a larger 160 kW front motor, jumping the total output to 429 hp (or 483 hp in Boost Mode), while lowering the range to just 235 miles. Though it's a nice jump over the Ioniq 5's power, the upcoming Kia EV6 GT still offers more performance with 576 hp. Oh, and the Ioniq 5 N is coming, likely with the same output at the EV6 GT. The Peformance trim also adds electronic suspension, a limited-slip differential, monobloc front brakes, Nappa leather, Ergo Motion massage seats, heated rear seats, 21-inch wheels, digital key, and alloy pedals.

Both trims include three years of 30-minute complimentary charging sessions from Electrify America, one of the best charging offers available today. It also offers some of the quickest charge speeds on the market, going from 10 to 80 percent battery in around 18 minutes on a 350 kW charger. Unfortunately, even if you're sold on the GV60, it may be tough for you to buy one. Genesis says the GV60 will only initially be available at select retailers in California, Connecticut, New Jersey, and New York. If you live outside of those states, get ready to travel.
