As Chrysler and Lancia are preparing for a badge sharing merger in the very near future, the Ypsilon will be making its way to Europe for the next model year. However, it will be a Lancia in mainland Europe and a Chrysler in the UK. An entry to the U.S. market hasn't been ruled out. Of course this isn't the Lancia from the Stratos era, it's now the more conservative division of Fiat that has been catering lately to an older buying audience.
Since Lancia and Chrysler have the same CEO, it should come as no surprise that we'll be seeing future Lancia/Chrysler models partaking in badge sharing as Chrysler is hoping for a better foothold in the European market and Fiat likewise in the U.S. How this will work out remains uncertain, but we can say from the looks of the Ypsilon, it's not entirely bad looking - just plain as vanilla.
