Although Jaguar is now owned by Indian automaker Tata, it's blatantly clear the owners have no intention of allowing the famed automaker to sink into the ground. The Jaguar XKR-S has even more power than the XKR that was released last year - and it was the fastest XK ever built. The new car is more of track-focused piece, but every bit a Jag. It has a top speed of 186 mph and a 0 to 60 time of just 4.2 seconds thanks to its 5.0 liter supercharged V8.
As such, the XKR-S is now the most powerful mass production car Jaguar has ever built. It will go on sale this September with a $157,926 price tag. It also has a custom exhaust, bespoke suspension set up, and unique styling elements from Computational Fluid Dynamics modeling and wind tunnel testing. These include new intakes, sills, rear apron, a carbon fiber splitter, and a rear diffuser. LEDs, 20-inch alloys, and 16-way adjustable memory seats with "carbon fiber effect leather" round out the package.
