Geneva 2011: Novitec Rosso 599 GTO

You would have a hard time finding very many people who believe the Ferrari 599 GTO needs more power. Anything over 600 horsepower is generally quite a lot to deal with, even in the best-behaved cars, and the 599 GTO is pretty much at the limit of how much power the chassis can deal with as it is. Novitec Rosso, however, would disagree. They have created an extensive tuning program for the 599 GTO that raises the horsepower to 876.

They've accomplished this by fitting the 6.0-liter V12 with twin superchargers, enlarged fuel injectors, a large intercooler and a new exhaust system. All of this adds up to the 215hp increase in power that gets the GTO to 200 km/h (124mph) in just 9.1 seconds, and on to a top speed of 211mph. It has been painted in a scheme that is meant to invoke the mighty 250 GTO of 1964.
