Geneva 2011: Skoda Vision D Design Study and Logo

/ Comments

Skoda has made its world premiere of the brand's new design direct and the VisionD concept car at the recently opened 2011 Geneva Motor Show. The concept vehicle is a five-door hatchback that sits on a longer wheelbase and short overhangs that allow for maximum interior space for occupants. The design of the overall concept is stunning and the absence of a third lateral glass gives the hatchback a dynamic appearance.

The front has a larger and sharp-edged grille which contains Skoda's new logo prominently. Inside, the interior has a modern look and feel, with a center console dominated by a large touchscreen, and a gear lever that stands out. As for the new logo, the most telling change to the brand's symbol is the winged arrow, which became larger and more visible. The color has also changed from "natural green" to the new "SKODA Green".
