Audi has released their redesigned A3 hatchback at the 2012 Geneva Motor Show to great acclaim. The 2013 A3 features Audi's current design language complemented by an aggressive front-end sure to be a hit on the highways.
Packed with new technology, the Audi A3 contains such accoutrements as the German company's refreshed and minimized MMI controller interface, satnav, telephone operation via a pair of switches and the "Audi Phone Box" wireless charging system. The three-door A3 is available on the European market with two gasoline-powered engines, the 122hp 1.4-liter TFSI and 180hp 1.8-liter TFSI, while a third 143hp 2.0-liter TDI diesel is available as well. The first and third options are matched to a six-speed manual gearbox while the 1.8-liter TFSI is paired to an S-tronic dual-clutch transmission.
The 2013 Audi A3 should be ready for delivery in Europe by September. Pricing starts around $30,150 (£19,000). An A3 sedan variant will eventually be made available for the North American market.
