Mercedes-AMG GT 63 Coupe

Ok, so not all of these may be considered supercars, but the GT3 moniker itself is very much worth noting. That's because "GT3" refers to street legal track cars, such as the Porsche 911 GT3. They're not for the inexperienced driver; not knowing how to handle this breed will very easily result in trouble. However, there's quite an element of prestige here and high performance carmakers are eager to bring something of their own to the segment. As we already know, the Porsche 911 GT3 RS is scheduled to make its official debut at Geneva in a few weeks.

But the crew at Autocar noticed that 2015 will literally be the year of the GT3 car. Also set to premiere at Geneva is the Aston Martin V12 Vantage GT3. Like the 911 GT3, it'll be lighter and more powerful than the "standard" V12 Vantage. A track-tuned suspension is also expected. We also know that Jaguar is at work on an F-Type GT3 and an official announcement is expected any time. Just the other day Mercedes teased the AMG GT GT3 before its Geneva arrival. Bentley too is prepping a Continental GT3 but we don't know just yet whether it'll be ready this year. But still, a lighter and more powerful Bentley coupe will be pretty sweet. So, altogether, that's up to five new GT3 cars about to debut or are in the works.
