GL-Class Receives Fresh Updates

Industry News / Comments

Mercedes-Benz updated the GL-Class for the 2010 model year with a number of changes. Besides the standard front and rear grille fascia updates, there are now LED lights, standard all-season 19 inch wheels, and more chrome trim. The most interesting fact about the GL-Class is that its diesel engine option, called the BLUETEC, is the world's cleanest diesel and reduces emissions by 80%.

It meets all emission standards in all 50 states. Numerous auto test drivers have actually stated they'd prefer to own the V6 diesel engine version, the GL 350. When comparing the GL class, especially the GL350 BLUETEC, to the BMW 5 Series and Audi Q7, one should realize that Mercedes has done their homework and now it's time for the competition to play catch up.
