GM Unveils New Chevy Colorado

Concepts

General Motors has just unveiled what it's calling the next-generation Chevrolet Colorado ahead of the Bangkok International Motor Show. Although this is designated as a show truck, the mid-size truck is set to go on sale in Thailand later this year. The power source of the truck is 2.8-liter turbo-diesel engine, but there's still no information on what we can expect of its power or efficiency. GM states that there should be enough power though to tow.

Still, this truck is meant to be a competitor against the global Ford Ranger, but it remains to be seen if GM will offer the Colorado seen here in the States. The U.S. is still home to the Shreveport, LA plant that manufactures the aging Colorado/GMC Canyon, but rumors claim that GM isn't going planning on killing off those pickups just yet. Guess we'll just have to wait and see.
