The all-new 2021 Chevrolet Tahoe and Suburban SUVs were revealed earlier this month, and that means the next generation GMC Yukon and Yukon XL are coming very soon. January 14, to be exact. The 2021 Cadillac Escalade, the most luxurious of GM's large SUVs, will arrive on February 4. And right now it seems there's a bit of an overstock of the 2019 GMC Yukon on dealership lots across America.

The 2019 GMC Yukon is currently being advertised with a 15 percent rebate. Not only will this reduce the cost by a few thousand dollars, but this latest offer is also available to everyone, not just current GM owners and lessees. What GMC stands to gain from this is a hopeful last-minute sales surge before the end of the fourth quarter of the year.

Right now, there are actually two offers for the Yukon this month. First, a finance offer of $500 plus 0 percent APR financing for 72 months with GM Financial. And then there's the 15 percent discount retail offer for everyone. How much can buyers save here? GMC gives an example of a 2019 Yukon Denali with an MSRP of $77,405.

To get to the 15 percent off, the automaker actually combines two discounts: $7,164 price reduction below MSRP and a $4,447 purchase allowance. That's a combined $11,611 in savings, or 15 percent below MSRP. And in case you're wondering, these discounts apply for the 2019 GMC Yukon XL as well.

If you're not interested in paying top dollar, even with the discount, for the latest Yukon Denali, you can always opt for the base Yukon SLE. It carries an MSRP of $50,895. Apply the 15 percent discount and you've reduced that figure to $43,261. This offer is only good for about another week as customers must take delivery by January 2, 2020.
