GMC has added a new special edition to its Hummer EV lineup outside of the First Editions that launched with the SUV and pickup. This new model is called the Omega Edition, and it's available on the Hummer EV SUV (pictured below) as well as the Hummer EV Pickup. The Omega edition looks pretty mega with Neptune Blue Matte paint and black accents, adding flare to the otherwise drab existing Hummer color pallet.

Customers can order this special edition package on the 3X trim level, which was recently announced with a range-topping 355-mile range on the pickup and a still-impressive 314-mile rating on the SUV. With the larger off-road tires, those range numbers drop to 329 and 298 miles, respectively. The Omega Edition SUV is priced at $139,995, while the pickup costs $149,995. Oddly, GMC hasn't announced pricing for the non-Omega 3X models.

In addition to the blue paint, the Omega Edition adds the Extreme Off-Road package, black exterior trim, transparent Sky Panels, 18-inch gloss black beadlock-capable wheels, high lux carpet flooring, MultiPro tailgate with Kicker audio speaker system (pickup only), and beadlock mounted spare wheel with a spare tire cover (SUV only).

Since the special edition is based on the 3X trim, both versions get three electric motors with one up front and two in the back. The pickup produces 1,000 horsepower thanks to its larger battery pack, while the SUV delivers 830 hp.

"The Hummer EV is one of the hottest vehicles on the market today, and it just got even more desirable with the striking and strictly limited Omega Edition," said Duncan Aldred, global vice president, Buick-GMC. "With traffic-stopping design provided by the exclusive, space inspired Neptune Blue Matte exterior color with premium blacked-out details, the Hummer EV Omega Edition will be a standout on every city street while continuing to deliver the capability and groundbreaking performance our customers expect from GMC."

GMC will only offer the Omega Edition for the 2024 model year with deliveries starting in the first half of 2024.
