You'll be able to kit out the electric pickup with nearly 200 accessories.
The GMC Hummer EV is set to go on sale later this year and demand for the electric pickup has been astronomically high, with the Edition 1 selling out in just a few hours.
With a starting price of $79,995 for the base model and $112,595 for the Edition 1, the Hummer EV Pickup is much more expensive than the Tesla Cybertruck and Rivian R1T - and that's before you start adding options. If you like spending money, GMC will offer hundreds of accessories to enhance the truck's cosmetics and capability, just like the Ford Bronco.
Citing sources familiar with GM's accessory strategy, Hummer Nation claims the Hummer EV Pickup will be available with nearly 200 accessories. Specific details are unknown, but there's a good chance some of GM's most popular accessories will carry over.
For the exterior, the Hummer EV Pickup will likely be available with splash guards, assist steps adding easier access to the cabin, mirror caps, special emblems, and decal and stripe packages to help it stand out from the crowd. To protect the bed, GMC will likely offer bed mats, tailgate liners, and bed liners. Custom tonneau covers will also likely be available.
As for interior options, some of GM's most popular accessories include illuminated door sill plates, interior trim kits, premium all-weather floor liners, and carpeted floor mats. Chances are the Hummer EV Pickup will be sold with several unique accessories and customization options, too. The full list of accessories available should be revealed before the Hummer EV Pickup goes on sale this fall.
In its range-topping Edition 1 Guise, the Hummer EV Pickup utilizes three electric motors producing a combined 1,000 horsepower and 11,500 lb-ft of torque, while still achieving a range of 350 miles on a single charge. With this setup, 0-62 mph takes just three seconds. If the three-motor electric variant is too expensive for you, the entry-level dual-motor version will arrive in 2023.
