The fact that GMC is currently offering discounts on the 2019 Sierra 1500 is not at all surprising. It's the end of the year. But what's a little surprising is this important factor: these offers are not exclusive to current GM owners and lessees like they were a few months ago. Right now, GMC is offering a rebate on certain 2019 Sierra 1500s by as much as 20 percent off MSRP. In some cases, this translates to over $11,000 in savings. Similar savings plans were offered last summer but they were limited to Double Cab models.

Now, the savings have been transferred to Crew Cab model as well (as well as for non-GM customers), though for certain trims only. The cashback rebates have also been increased.

On its official website, GMC provides one example on a 2019 Sierra 1500 Crew Cab SLT with an MSRP of $58,250. Thanks to a $5,500 price reduction below MSRP along with a $6,100 purchase cash allowance, this translates to $11,650 in savings for a discounted price of $46,600. There could be some additional savings available from dealerships that are currently not advertised, so it's important to shop around. And fortunately, interested buyers have some time. Christmas shopping can take up a lot of time, after all. GMC says these offers are good through January 2, 2020.
