The GMC Terrain lineup has been given a set of upgrades for the 2016 model year, most notably at the front and rear which have received new styling, C-shaped lower chrome trim, and a chrome-accented grille for the SLE, SLT and Denali trims. The Denali is further distinguished with a tri-segment front grille texture. Redesigned LED DRLs, a new power-dome hood design, new 18- and 19-inch rims, and new body colors of Red Tintcoat and White Frost Tricoat, represent the rest of the exterior changes.

Inside, GMC has refreshed the instrument panel center stack by updating the control graphics and adding a storage shelf. Premium cloth seat fabric adorns SL and SLE models, while the SLT gets new Saddle Up leather and the Denali a Light Titanium/Jet Black interior. Other upgrades include chrome-accented gear shifter, 8-way power-adjustable passenger seat (for the SLT) and new safety systems for the SLE and SLT. After debuting at the New York Auto Show tomorrow, the 2016 GMC Terrain will hit dealerships in the fall.
