Even as social distancing measures wind down across the United States, many employees find themselves working from home far more than ever before. In fact, June 24th is National Work From Home Day, and GMC wants to celebrate the occasion with a special offer for existing customers. GMC's "Work from Anywhere" campaign begins June 24th and ends July 4th. During this time, the first 20,210 customers to opt-in will receive free Wi-Fi service (if compatible with their vehicle).

"We invite those feeling burned out to change their scenery, get outdoors and away from the home office, and enjoy the option to work from anywhere when safe to do so - whether it's a getaway to a scenic location, a trip to their local park or even their own driveway," said Phil Brook, vice president of GMC Marketing.

"GMC's premium lineup of trucks and SUVs is truly made to be used, offering bold design, authentic capability, and all the comfort and connectivity ideal for a remote-office setting in whatever location you want to work from - or just to relax and enjoy the world around you," he added. An Indeed study showed 67% of remote workers believe burnout became worse during the pandemic, with 53% confirming they now work longer hours.

Using the built-in 4G connection found in select GMC vehicles, the company suggested several ideas for how to use the complimentary WiFi.

These include creating a workspace on the GMC Sierra 1500's available MultiPro tailgate, playing video games in the back of a GMC Yukon Denali, or hosting a brainstorming session in the seven-seat GMC Acadia.

In addition to the complimentary WiFi, participating customers will have a chance to enter GMC's sweepstakes to win a brand-new Sierra AT4. To enter, GMC wants customers to share photos of their vehicular office, tagging the @GMC account and using the #WorkFromAnywhere hashtag.
