The Concours d'Elegance in Pebble Beach, California is synonymous with luxury and wealth. This year's edition of the prestigious auto show will not disappoint with the unveiling of Swiss artist Dante's 24-karat gold Ferrari 250 GTO. As the third piece in Dante's Iconic Sports Car series, the Ferrari 250 GTO joins hallowed company including both the Aston Martin DB5 and the Mercedes-Benz 300 SL Gullwing.

Each work in the series is supplied in traditional gold, white gold and silver. Only ten pieces of model are made. "The iconic car sculptures are my tribute to the men who made the original cars: they were artists," said Dante. He continued: "One of the most important reasons for my coming to Pebble Beach is the celebration of the Ferrari 250 GTO and the number of original cars being shown. It is my favorite car of all time." The Concours d'Elegance in Pebble Beach, California starts August 18th. The sculpture will be displayed during the event beside a tribute to the Ferrari 250 GTO.
