The Audi TT RS is a great car. With 360 hp and 343 lb-ft of torque from its turbocharged five-cylinder engine, it has enough power to topple any other car in its segment. Many different tuning firms have played with its looks and engine. One of those tuning firms is HPerformance. Last year, it unveiled two TT RS models, one in black and one in white, each with 500 hp and 523 lb-ft of torque. When it revealed these two cars, a 700 hp TT RS was in the works and now that monster has been shown off.
The new mental sportscar produces 739 horsepower and 649 lb-ft of torque thanks to a GTX-35 turbocharger, new exhaust manifold and intercooler. Other modifications include a new air intake, high-tuned fuel pump, better injectors, ceramic brake systems from its older brother, the R8, and a 90mm Clubsport exhaust. That is a lot of power for a small sportscar. How much are these heavenly upgrades worth? Around $53,308, which is almost the price of another TT. But in exchange you get the power of more than another TT RS so that sounds pretty fair. If $53,000 on a tune sounds too pricey for you, HPerformance will sell you a turbo kit for only $10,660 which will give the TT RS “just” 592 hp.
