You'll hear the sound of that supercharged 3.0-liter V6 in the first few seconds of this video review from crew of Carfection. It sounds fabulous, and it's under the hood of an SUV. The Jaguar F-Pace has arrived and just as much as it's an SUV, it's also a full-blown driver's car. However, it almost didn't end up that way. Earlier in its development, the F-Pace was more SUV than driver's car, but that changed when the Porsche Macan hit the market. Remember, Jaguar Land Rover is one company, a company that very much knows how to build proper SUVs.

But the Macan changed things, paving the way forward for SUVs that also appeal to customers accustomed to sports sedans, like the Jaguar XE and BMW 3 Series. The F-Pace isn't about to let the Macan have all of the spotlight. Enthusiasts will want to shell out more for that supercharged V6. Trust us.
