Stunning shots of the Swedish supercar were taken on the day it broke the Nurburgring record hitting 250mph.
A superb gallery of the 2013 Koenigsegg Agera R at this year's Gran Turismo Nurburgring supercar has been put together by Ansho Bijlmakers, who managed to capture the awesome hypercar in a variety of locations. At the event, the Agera R broke the Nurburgring record, hitting a top speed of 249.54mph on the track's 2.17-mile long Dottinger Hohe straight. A couple of sweet videos were taken at the time, so go check them out if you missed them the first time round.
The Koenigsegg Agera R features a more powerful version of the 5.0-liter twin-turbocharged V8 found in previous years' editions. Using E85 biofuel, the aluminum-titanium-carbon fiber built engine can put out 1,140hp, while with regular unleaded fuel output is measured at 960hp (up from the previous year's 940hp rating). The engine improvements come thanks to a revamp of the Agera R's ECU and a higher rev limit of 7,500rpm. The Swedish supercar is purported to reach a top speed of 273mph and manage 0-62mph in 2.9 seconds.
