The fifth installment of the GTA series looks groundbreaking and breathtaking.

Grand Theft Auto V, the much-anticipated fifth installment of Rockstar Games' ground-breaking open-world hit video game, has been rumored for release as early as this October. As we eagerly anticipate the launch of what could possibly be the greatest game in the history of the world, Rockstar has tempted us with a helping of 12 new screenshots depicting various scenes around the city including, of course, multiple cars that will be available for theft.

The new game will be based in Los Santos which is, in essence, a virtual Los Angeles. Before we go any further, check out the official trailer for GTA V below if you haven't seen it already.
