Great Balls of Ferrari Fire: F430 Goes Up In Flames in Downtown Kuala Lumpur During Rush Hour

There's never a good time for a Ferrari to catch on fire, but this was particularly bad timing.

The last thing you need during peak hour traffic is a car on fire in the middle of a major thoroughfare. Causing a two-kilometer logjam, this red Ferrari F430 suddenly caught fire in downtown Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, and turned into a massive heap of melted metal after local fire fighters quenched the flames. It's unknown what caused the supercar to catch on fire, but an engine problem is the most likely culprit.

Thankfully no-one was injured as a result, with driver and his female companion managing to escape from the burning car unhurt.
