There are no rivalries quite as vicious as the one between the Nissan GT-R and Porsche 911. The two are constantly playing a revolving game of one-upmanship with constant revisions and updates, each aimed at staying at the top of their game - and ahead of the other. The battle typically takes place on the Nurburgring, that most vaunted of circuits that is Porsche's back yard and where Nissan has set up shop. But of course it's not only street-legal supercars that battle it out at the Green Hell.

In this clip filmed during this year's Nurburgring 24-hour race, watch a 911 GT3 Cup stay glued to the squared-off bumper of the Nismo GT-R for lap after lap, never letting it out of its sights - but never managing to pass it, either. A few more powerful racers also come into the mix, but the battle comes down to the Elfen and Godzilla.
