GT3 Handles Like a Video Game

Typically software developers try to make their video games feel like reality. With the new 911 GT3, Porsche is apparently going the opposite direction.

With 475 horsespower and a track-tuned suspension, the new 911 GT3 is bound to emerge as a favorite among gamers on Forza and GranTurismo alike. And with its paddle-shift gearbox and electronic four-wheel steering system, driving it is likely to feel like a video game, too. Those points aren’t lost on the boys from Stuttgart, who have put out this promo video for the most hard-core version of the new 911 yet. With the Turbo and GT2 models still in the pipeline, the GT3 sits at the top of the current range.

Despite packing only six cylinders and a lack of forced induction, the new GT3 is still capable of a 3.3-second 0-60 time, a 195mph top speed and a Nurburgring lap time of under 7:30. Just wait for the turbocharged models arrive. But in the meantime, check out the clip below.
