Another tuning package by the German tuning outfit is revealed ahead of Geneva.
Third in their five-car series is the BMW M5, and Hamann has another solid tuning package set to be unveiled at Geneva. The design and aerodynamics have been improved with a series of exterior upgrades, and the car gets a touring-car appearance thanks to 25mm wing extensions on each side of the front and 30mm on each side of the rear. Up front there's a new fascia with integrated LED daytime running lights, while a new rear apron reduces upthrust and improves agility.
Roof & rear spoilers and a side sill set help to aid handling as do a choice of 21-inch ultra-light Unique Forged II forged alloys and three-part aluminum wheels, which are in turn accentuated by special chassis springs that lower the center of gravity by 30mm. Still at the development stage, powerful performance upgrades include a high-performance sports muffler and a new engine-management system. These should help to boost power by 160hp to 720hp and give the V8 an additional 162lb-ft of torque taking it to 664lb-ft.
Inside, full-leather upholstery adorns the cabin, while Piano lacquer and Alcantara finishes are available upon request, all of which is hand-manufactured and individually designed.
