Not happy with your BMW X3's performance? Hamann has an answer.
German tuner Hamann has just revealed details and images of its latest aftermarket package, this time focusing on the current generation BMW X3. The company focused almost entirely on upping performance through ECU upgrades for the SUV's numerous engine offerings. One example includes the all-wheel drive xDrive 35i, which is powered by a turbocharged 3.0-liter inline-six that's good for 300 horsepower and 295 lb-ft of torque. Hamann has upgraded that output to 348 hp and 331 lb-ft.
Prefer an oil-burner? The 35d, typically coming in at 309 hp and 465 lb-ft will now develop 350 hp and 513 lb-ft. Alongside those under-the-hood upgrades, Hamann is also offering customers a suspension lowering kit that reduces ride height by 35 mm. A set of 21-inch silver one-piece wheels round out the package. Official pricing has yet to be released.
