Happy holidays to all tour CarBuzz readers. For the celebration of July 4th, we would like to share with you some of our favorite American rides.
The Fourth of July is one of our favorite holidays of the year. No work (except for us gearheads), great weather (usually), and cookouts with family and friends. Something people don't think about enough, was how much of our history was built on speed. Paul Revere racing his horse through Boston to warn of the forthcoming British invasion, America's fast speedboats destroying the Spanish fleet in 1898, the first to flight, first to the moon, the list goes on.
It's important, however, on this day to remember all those who sacrificed so much for our great country. Most of the advancements in our favorite labor of love are thanks to those that have served and kept America free, so that we can pursue our passions and our need for speed. As Ricky Bobby would say "I wanna go fast!" Speed defines America, it's what we thrive on. Ever since the second industrial revolution ushered in a new range of technology and produced the assembly line, we have been building on those techniques to build bigger, faster, stronger and more powerful engines to propel our vehicles (on whatever medium they may be) to go fast.
Here at CarBuzz, we would like to share with you some of our favorite American rides from the last couple decades. Take a look, enjoy and have a great holiday. -CarBuzz Team
