Harris Bids Farewell to Mercedes C63 AMG 507 by Flogging it Around a Track

Test Drive

Burning rubber makes saying goodbye a little bit easier.

Having been in production since 2007, we’ll soon be waving goodbye to the W204 C63. This was the car that put AMG firmly on the high-performance sedan map, and was the first true BMW M rival. Chris Harris has doubtless spent plenty of time in both this and the M3, but it’s the Affalterbach creation he loves most. This particular variant is the Edition 507, which comes packing a 6.2-liter V8 with 507hp and 450 lb-ft of torque.

It looks and sounds like a bit of an animal, but it will soon be laid to rest. One last hurrah for Harris, then.
