This German tuner just made the best so much better.
When the Mercedes S63 AMG Coupe was revealed last year, it blew us away with its stunningly elegant looks and performance figures fit for a supercar. But as things go, the car was soon overshadowed by its bigger brother, the S65, and later by a rash of tuning firms like Brabus, G-Power and others, offering improved performance and upgraded looks. But now, Mansory has revealed its own take on one of the best-looking luxury performance coupes out there, and it is bringing an endless list of improvements to the already near-perfect car.
Under the hood, the car's engine has been fitted with custom connecting rods, crankshaft, turbochargers, pipe fan manifolds and suction and compressor system. With these goodies, it produces a mind-blowing 900 horsepower and electronically limited 960 lb-ft of torque between 1,600 and 5,700 rpm. The Mansory will reach 62 mph in 3.3 seconds before topping out at an also electronically limited 186 mph. Intimidated by those numbers? There is also a 720 hp, 812 lb-ft version available. Although the original left little to be desired in the looks department, the Mansory version receives a plethora of new carbon-fiber body parts and new alloy wheels. Inside, a revised cabin compliments the exterior looks.
