Has Porsche Killed The Magical 911 With Turbos?

Or is it still the benchmark?

The Porsche 911 has always been the benchmark for sports cars with its incredible handling, purist-oriented engine and ability to make the driver feel involved. However, Porsche fanatics are some of the most old school type of people in the world and cry at every minuscule change the brand implements. The latest 911 Carrera S has added a pair of turbos to the 3.0-liter flat-six for a total of 420 horsepower. Turbos have improved the 911’s fuel economy, performance and brought the sports car into modern times.

But is the 911 Carrera S still magical?Turbocharging does have its downsides, but Porsche has worked its butt off to make it work. After watching this review, we would suggest getting into a non-turbo 911 before prices go up.
