At the end of last year, Steve Saleen teased the world with a brief rendering of the then upcoming 302 Black Label Mustang. And now it's made its official debut at a special event in Los Angeles. Saleen claims this is the "most powerful production Mustang to date." How so? Powered by the familiar 5.0-liter Coyote V8, additional oomph comes from a 2.8-liter twin-screw supercharger along with high-flow fuel injectors and an optimized ECU. With all that, the newly combined output is 730 hp and 600 lb-ft of torque.

Do a quick comparison and this sucker is more powerful than a Lamborghini Aventador. Holy crap balls. In order to handle the extra power, Saleen has enhanced the chassis and suspension with additional swings, shocks, swaybars, and bushings. Engineered for both the road and track, the S302 Mustang Black Label also features unique styling, such as a new aerodynamic body kit with a new front fascia and splitter, side skirts, rear diffuser, and a ram air hood. The grille has also been tweaked, and there's a new rear spoiler, 20-inch alloys, a high-performance braking system, while downforce has also been increased thanks to the car being stretched and widened.

Due to various carbon-fiber components, curb weight comes in at a reasonable 3,699 lbs. The interior is covered in black leather and suede seats, a revised gauged cluster, unique steering wheel, and tons of Saleen badging. Pricing starts at $73,214, and a $2,015 deposit is required.
