The Audi TT has always looked great inside and out, but it's never driven like a true sports car. Compared to the Porsche Boxster and even the Mazda MX-5, a driving enthusiast wouldn't even bother with the TT. That is until now. Audi set out to fix the shortcomings of the first two generations of the TT with the all-new 2015 model. We saw it in the flesh at Geneva last March and were impressed. But how does it drive? Can it now compete with the best drivers' cars?

Or does it simply carry on with the TT tradition of attractive looks but only so-so driving experience? Autocar gets behind the wheel of the new TTS to find out whether Audi has built a proper small sports coupe (and soon to launch roadster).
