"Heavy Chevy" Silverado Takes on Tuned GT-R on the Street

Street Race

No shortage of torque here.

While the Nissan GT-R has been modestly upgraded with a full four-inch ETS titanium exhaust, AMS race intercooler and fueled with E85 race gas, the “Heavy Chevy” Silverado has a list of modifications longer than my arm. These include PT84 turbos, TH400 transmission, and a 6.0-liter LQ9 short block with upgraded crank, rods, and pistons. In typical blistering style, Godzilla shows the Silverado a fresh set of alloys, before the high-performance truck gives it a taste of its own medicine.

Both pull seriously hard and we would love to see these drag it out on the strip.
