Heavy Traffic Grinds Green Hell to a Halt

When all you want to do is go flat out, an endless wall of traffic is the last thing you want to see at the Ring.

The Nurburgring might be struggling to find a buyer but Green Hell still has plenty of fans. These awesome pictures from Bridge to Gantry reveal that time at the Ring isn’t always spent going flat out. Far from it in fact. Last weekend, there was four full days of public driving and the turnout was immense. Dubbed Green Hell Driving Days, it appears that bad weather meant drivers favored Sunday for a spin on the fabled track. Ironically, instead of doing a fast lap, the backlog of unused tickets meant drivers were forced to suffer epic queues.
