Unveiled back in October, this is Hennessey's supercharged Mustang being dyno tested. Upon it's release, the Texan tuner claimed the HPE700 Stang was capable of 717 hp and 632 lb-ft of torque, and this video proves the monster Mustang is good for 663 hp and 525 lb-ft of torque at the rear wheels. Brutal. That equates to a 0-60 mph run of 3.6 seconds and a quarter-mile time of 11.2 seconds at 131 mph. Hennessey has added to the 5.0-liter V8 a 2.9-liter supercharger running 7.25 psi of boost.

Other upgrades include a new stainless steel exhaust, upgraded fuel injectors and pumps, ECU adjustment, carbon-fiber bodywork, and 20-inch lightweight alloy wheels. Just 500 examples are planned and pricing will start at $59,500 – including the price of the base car. What do you think about that Vette Z06 and Hellcat owners?
