The 2021 Ram 1500 TRX is the most extreme truck ever produced. With a 6.2-liter supercharged V8 producing 702 horsepower, the TRX is more extreme than most owners could ever imagine. But tuning companies like Hennessey Performance are always ready to take it up a notch. Since 2017, the Texas-based tuner has delivered 15 examples of the six-wheeled, Ford-based VelociRaptor 6X6 and Chevrolet-based Goliath 6X6. Now, it's Ram's turn.

Hennessey will perform its 6X6 conversion on the new Ram 1500 TRX, transforming it into the Mammoth 6X6. Although the stock TRX already packs more power than any other truck on the market, Hennessey will replace it with the 7.0-liter supercharged Hellephant crate motor, tuned to produce 1,200 hp. That's a lot of 'Murica.

FCA only produced 100 examples of the Hellephant engine, each priced at $29,995, and even for a well-known company like Hennessey, getting ahold of multiple Hellephant motors is no easy task. The Texas tuner managed to source three of these engines to build just three examples of the Mammoth 6X6.

"We are very excited about the Ram TRX," said founder and CEO, John Hennessey. "Mammoth 6X6 powered by a 1,200 hp Hellephant motor is just a completely ridiculous idea, which is exactly why we are doing this. We are only going to build three examples, which will likely make this the most exclusive and most expensive truck we've ever built."

The truck is priced at a whopping $500,000, also making it the most expensive truck Hennessey has built. Keep in mind though, that massive sticker includes the base $69,995 cost of the Ram TRX. For your half a million dollars, Hennessey will add six-wheel-drive, a new truck bed, upgraded off-road suspension, a bespoke interior, upgraded front, and rear bumpers, new LED lights, and more.

Hennessey says that orders, all three of them, open on September 4, 2020, at noon central time. If you want one, you'll have to call right at that time to nab one for yourself.
