The Cadillac CTS-V isn't what we would call underpowered. In fact, the sedan's supercharged 6.2-liter V8 produces an impressive 640 hp right from the factory. The beastly engine aids the CTS-V in getting to 60 mph in 3.6 seconds, which is supercar fast. Hennessey Performance didn't think the CTS-V had enough power, so the tuning company upped performance with a variety of packages. However, the top of the line HPE1000 package ups performance to a mind-bending 1,000 hp. Yup, that's a lot more than you'll ever need.

The first performance package for the CTS-V is the HPE750, which adds a pulley upgrade, new catalytic converters, a high-flow air induction system and an updated ECU for a total of 750 hp. The next step up is the HPE800, which is good for a total of 800 hp thanks to a custom camshaft, an intercooler heat exchanger upgrade and high-flow cylinder heads. For sheer terror, the HPE1000 package is the best choice. This adds a 2.9-liter supercharger, an aggressive ECU tune, a different fuel system, ported cylinder heads and other performance components. The Texan company claims the sedan is good for more than 240 mph and if there's one thing we know, it's that 1,000 hp won't be enough for Hennessey Performance.
